A  silk base Closure or Swiss lace closure is a hair piece closure that is worn with a weave to give a natural looking hairline. The silk base  material creates a scalp for this closure, and therefore can be parted and styled in any direction. It can be applied to sew-in weaves or glue-in weaves.  Silk base closure and swiss lace closure makes a natural addition to a weave-on.
Complete your initial hair weave by either sewing or gluing the weave to tracks, or cornrow braids, of your natural hair. Leave a U-shaped portion of cornrow braids on the crown section of your head. This is where you will place the hair closure. After you have completed applying your hair weave, lay your closure on the crown of your head to determine how it will look and blend with your weave.
Next, with either glue or dark-colored sewing thread and a C-shaped needle, attach the lace or skin weft border of the closure to the U-shaped section of tracks on the crown of your head. Trim he excess lace of the closure at the front making sure you don't cut the baby hair. Apply the glue below your own hairline. If using ultra hold glue, wait 10-15 minutes for the glue to become tacky and press the lace of your closure situated at the front firmly with a fine tooth comb. Your end result should appear as a full head of natural looking hair with a realistic hair part provided  by the closure.

Silk base closure

A silk base closure has a base made of a silk that mimic the scalp so no need to wear a wig cap, no bleached knots needed. The lace is not visible and the knots are hidden under the silk. You can part the hair in any direction and the scalp will look like your own scalp. You will achieve a more natural look which makes this type of closure more expensive. Also the hair appears much more fuller than its current density thanks to the silk.

Swiss lace closure

A Swiss lace closure also called Top closure has a see-thru base. The grids of the Swiss lace are visible and to hide it, it is recommended to wear a adhesive bandage that match your scalp completion underneath the lace to achieve a more natural look

As seen above, with the adhesive bandage, the Swiss lace closure looks much more natural.
To make the colour of the adhesive bandage darker apply a darker foundation/make up or use our fabric mate lace dye pen marker..
